GitHub Radar publishes independent research and commentary about open-source projects and developer tools.


SELECTION


Projects are selected for usefulness, originality, technical relevance, maintenance activity, documentation quality, or wider community interest. Stars and trends can inform coverage, but they do not determine it.


VERIFICATION


We prefer primary sources such as official repositories, release notes, documentation, project websites, and maintainer statements. Important claims should be traceable to a source available at the time of publication.


EVALUATION


Coverage may consider licensing, installation effort, platform support, maintenance activity, security posture, pricing, and practical limitations. Editorial opinions are identified as assessments rather than facts.


COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIPS


Sponsored, affiliate, or otherwise compensated content must be disclosed clearly. Compensation does not guarantee positive coverage.


CORRECTIONS


Material factual errors should be corrected promptly. Significant corrections should be noted in the affected article.
